She provided beach bags (to keep!) and towels upon arrival, helpful local recommendations, and helped coordinate transport and responded on WhatsApp at all hours of the day. Steps from Pollonia beach (the most picturesque beach you’ve ever seen!) and fabulous restaurants, this darling Cycladic hotel offers suites that look like a catalog and a truly unbeatable location, but the real showstopper is the impeccable service.įrom the moment we walked in, Iliana made us feel like family. Iliana also helped us secure a rental car, last minute, and it was delivered to us with the option to return it at the port. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Extremely comfortable bed and parking is available in the back. Psaravolada Hotel is truly magical and secluded hotel and being our first time in Milos, we opted for Delmar Apartments for its proximity to more places to eat and visit.ĭelmar Apartments is very clean, bright and has all that you need. It turned out that this was the original hotel we had booked at for Milos but changed it to Delmar Apartments. From there we finished the evening with an amazing dinner with an expansive view of the sea from Psaravolada Hotel/Restaurant. On Milos, Iliana also recommended that aside from the main sites that everyone recommended, we visited the southern part of Milos (short easy drive) to beach Aghia Kiriaki for another less quiet beach than it's nearby Paliochori beach. Kimolos is a very small and quaint destination and doesn't require a full day unless you want to lounge at the beach. Once on Kimlos Island, we visited Prassa where Iliana recommended for a quiet day at a nice beach. The fee for 2 people plus a car is about 13Eur one way. Milos is a very small island and easily covered in a few days, including driving our car onto the Ferry to Kimolos from Pollonia. We enjoyed Milos so much that we added an extra day (4days total). We told her our interests and we took all her advise and were very pleased. Iliana at the front desk was a delightable lady with much knowledge about Milos and she gave us great advise to explore Milos. We opted for a rental car (which is quite expensive since Covid) because we wanted the freedom to explore but you can definitely do it by bus to explore the major areas of interest. The cost of the bus fare around the island is very reasonable at (1.80Eur when we went in Sept 2022). Delmar Apartments is in a central location, less than 1/2 block from the last bus stop in Pollonia, for those who do not want to hire a car. ![]()
